Marcus Luc’s journey in magic began at the age of 8. He first saw David Blaine in a re-run of the 1996 TV special “David Blaine – Street Magic”. The Magician took a cup of coffee, waved his hands, and produced hundreds of coins, spilling from the cup. Inspired by the small miracle and the class of the Magician, Marcus went on to study Blaine relentlessly. Marcus would watch footage of Blaine for hours at a time and mimic his sleights, patter, and showmanship. 6 months later, Marcus performed his first trick and successfully made a deck of cards vanish from a spectator’s hands.
At age 18, the Sydney Magician entered the magic community as a professional, performing for parliament, cruises, corporate events, and celebrities. Marcus’ specialty lies in close up / roving magic, where he brings the magic out from his hands and into yours. I’ve seen Marcus perform on multiple occasions now and I can tell you every single time I am blown away. His shows are interactive, captivating and will have your guests talking about it for months.
